Retreat – What is it?
All retreats are held at the Yraceburu ranch in Ramona, California, and are mandatory to receive Certification, and continue to the next penseh of studywork. One-on-one with Maria, on her turf, gives a moment outside of time, where we can experience the teachings manner similiar to her own experience – grounded in the land, listening to the wind, cleansing with the waters – and it's magical in a Fairy Grotto. Little People and Ancestors make themselves known, and a structure for implementing practices in the chaos of daily living take shape. We know the sensation of "Family" thru All Our Relations – echicasay. During retreats we review our Earth-based "Living Life Belief System," and how it applies to EVERYTHING. We develop our skills and support one another. We practice the rites of Cyclic Time. Many thing Retreat is the best, and Maria always says "Experience provides the answers for the Mind from the Heart."
Okay, so what is Retreat with Maria Yraceburu?
It's an all inclusive 5-day and 4 night unique traditional setting experience at the Yraceburu ranch.
Day 1 - The unique adventure begins when you step into a world silenced of phones, televisions, computers, anything electronic… we do have minimal cars and an occasional plane passing by. You will be transported across some kind of time-space thing to the ranch in the San Diego foothills. Our retreat starts with a warm introductory "Talking Circle" and a short orientation on how things run. The goal is to make you as comfortable as possible. Winter Retreats include double occupancy lodging near by. Spring, Summer & Fall Retreats include camping at the Ranch, and shared chores. After we make dinner together, or before, depending on the season, the horses have to be attended to, and if we're not cooking, we're helping "uptop" as Maria calls the pasture. A few minutes to ourselves brings us into the events of the nia'guch'ilaada'gotaal – Earth Magic Ceremonies, we align in as prescribed by our penseh studywork. We return around 10 pm to be lulled to our dreams by symphonic memories.
Day 2 - Morning Prayers, the Cyclic Ones we utilize in our homework and our daily meditations. Breakfast and horses. There's something about structure of traditional life that settles everything into place. Teachings go with every chore. Late morning around 10 am returns us to our studywork as enacted through ceremony. The parameters of such ceremony is based again by the cycle of the nia'guch'ilaada'gotall, and our personal tracking energies. Guess what we're doing this morning? Late afternoon is set aside for some personal time with chatting, walking, or just resting. The day will finish with more ceremony, practicing techniques we have studied and owned.
Day 3 - Morning begins the same, but we're gonna be ready around 9 am to being our session on reading signs. Each penseh works with a form of divination. This morning we test our skills. It's laid back. You will experience a new kind of balance with the natural world of Earth that will help to reset your inner world. The afternoon is power tool time, with some type of crafts work. The day ends with more ceremonial work.
Day 4 - Our day begins with an extraordinary and extremely rare opportunity to enact an ancient nia'guch'ilaada'gotaal reserved for SpiralDancing initiates. Here, general public participants watch, as Passing Power takes place, with Certificates handed out, and 500 years overlaps Now in a truly magnificent experience, with you as the inspiration for your future. In the late afternoon, we work in ceremony allowing the natural beauty of flow and laughter to guide our dance. The healing deepens it's work on our bodies and souls. You will feel rested and replenished as the evening draws near. Our day finishes with… what else… Ceremony!
Day 5- It's the last day of retreat. Relationships, insights and feelings have taken hold. We realize our most precious souvenir is the sense of inner peace that comes from participating in this extraordinary experience we can honestly call 'FAMILY." Our retreat closes with a wonderful breakfast, a traditional giveaway circle and prayers of gratitude. The journey home begins when you get back to the flow of traffic. You leave the ranch with an unforgettable memory of a moment when deep emotions ran authentic and centuries of earth teachings echoed through the hawk's cry above the sweat lodge frame. Your heart is SpiralDancing, and you will never be the same.
All meals and lodging/camping for the nia'guch'ilaada' of your penseh is discounted from the general public attendence.
